Helmut Stenitzer - Metal Objects

In 1987 I founded the Art-Atelier with my partner Eva Fischer. In 2008 our son Raphael Fischer decided to work together with us. We passed on our knowledge and experience to him.

First of all, the pieces are all designed and then produced with various handicraft skills. We are also pleased to manufacture very special pieces according to customers' wishes.

My partner Eva and my son Raphael make use of a wide range of Tiffany glasses, while I – as a trained metal sculptor – work predominantly with stainless steel, coloured metal and silver. I use it to make sculptures, animals and lights, but also delicate modern jewellery.

For my pictures I use oil on wood into which a metal installation has been set or affixed.

What I find attractive about working with metal is its primordial and mystical nature, which is then transferred into our times under the influences of the modern world.
